PERSONAL INJURY

Automobile accidents can involve multiple vehicles, and the collision can be light, moderate, or severe. California's Vehicle Code requires that those involved in vehicle collisions stop immediately at the scene for the exchange of information. A United States Army Veteran, attorney Michael H. Chen believes in the practice of law with honesty and integrity.
Michael received his B.A. from the University of California, Irvine in 2002. Following graduation from college, Michael enlisted in the United States Army Reserve. In 2004, Michael mobilized for Operation Iraqi Freedom under the command of the XVIII Airborne Corps out of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. As a Sergeant, he deployed to Balad, Iraq and Baghdad, Iraq in 2005. He earned his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2009. While in law school, Michael was a member of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review.
Michael is licensed to practice law in the State of California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He has been practicing exclusively in personal injury law since 2014, and continues to serve as a JAG Major in the United States Army Reserve.
Michael is conversational in Mandarin Chinese. In his spare time, Michael likes to work out, travel, and play the guitar.

Yesenia Rodriguez graduated from El Rancho High School, and was granted her Seal of Biliteracy for showing proficiency in both English and Spanish. In 2020, Yesenia received her B.A. in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton. Throughout her education career, Yesenia was consistently placed on the Honor Roll and Dean's List. Yesenia received her paralegal certification in 2022.
While in college, Yesenia volunteered at an independent senior living facility where she demonstrated her ability to be compassionate and helpful towards those in need of assistance. Through this experience, Yesenia developed an ability to empathize with her clients.
Yesenia now utilizes her skills and talents at Chen Law Group, where she works as a Paralegal. She is responsible for assisting with litigation and managing cases.
In her spare time, Yesenia enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, and trying new restaurants.

Marina Parze graduated from La Serna High School. She received her B.A. in Liberal Studies and currently holds a Multisubject Teaching Credential from California State University, Long Beach. Throughout her education career, Marina was consistently placed on the Honor Roll and Dean's List.
Following graduation, Marina taught as an elementary school teacher. Working as a teacher helped Marina strengthen her skills in communication, adaptability, and empathy. Most importantly, teaching allowed Marina to make a positive impact in her community.
Marina now continues to contribute to the community at Chen Law Group as a Legal Assistant. She is responsible for coordinating the medical care of her clients and the repair of their vehicles.
In her spare time, Marina enjoys the outdoors, trying new hobbies, and spending time with family and friends.
